Monitor Calibration Chart

To help view photos on the website at their optimum, the chart above can  be used to calibrate & adjust your monitor settings. The chart shows the 16 major grey scales.  If your monitor is correctly adjusted you should be able to see subtle differences between each of the grey shades.  (Note*  Not all photos on the site are adjusted to the right levels but I'm working on it!)

If you can only see differences in the mid and lower shades your brightness is too high, if you can only see a difference between the upper and mid shades the brightness is probably too low.

If you can only get the middle shades to differentiate,  reduce the contrast until they're all visible. If you still can't get all the boxes to appear correctly check that you have a 24bit or 32bit display mode (also known as a true-color display mode) enabled.

If all that fails then get yerself down to your local art supplies - buy a pack of coloured crayons and sort the effin' things yourself!
