So the Harley went, admittedly sold on a whim but probably a good move due to it's impracticality. Enter the BMW F800, a bike with an appalling reliability record, which is a shame because it's a great little machine to ride, quick, nimble and very light. Plus the belt drive appealed, I always liked that feature of the Harley. We'll see how it goes, if it starts giving trouble then it can go and I'll probably get another VFR800 but for now I'll give it the benefit of the doubt because it fits me ok and I love it's quirkiness. The problem is that the memories of the troublesome R1100S are still quite vivid in my head, I said I'd never have another Beemer after that but here we are! Pastures new and probably a few adventures in store but who needs predictability thats for ....erm, predictable people. And- it's NOT pink, ok?

The picture the dealer had on his
website I must admit it does look a bit pink in this one!

First purchase for it is this rather
fetching carbon fiibre hugger frm Skidmarx - It didn't fit but it does now,
thank the Lord for big hammers!
